Good value wines exist in all of the supermarkets, but they’re very hard to find!  Stocks are changing all the time, particularly at the ‘deep discounters’ Aldi and Lidl.  Prices change quickly everywhere, and offers come and go.  I haven’t tasted all these wines, but they have all been tasted and recommended somewhere – by wine experts and Masters of Wine – for their great value.  They are not all going to be complex and perfectly balanced, particularly at the lower end of the price spectrum, but they are eminently quaffable!  Availability and prices are correct as of 14^th June.
